Live painting at Canal colony

Live painting at Canal colony ,While i was working plein air on this piece one random man showed up who was littering the Yamuna for completing his holy rituals, i was silently observing him and kept working on my canvas.

After a few minutes he inquired me about my work and said " Ye yamuna nadi toh itni gandi hai tumne pani ko aur paid podhon ko itna saaf sutra kyun banaya?" (why did you paint the yamuna so clean when its so dirty)

I had a week long painting session and i saw numerous people coming over their and littering the river for their strange rituals,and after observing all this i simply answered the person who asked me this question after littering the river. "Sir i am creating it this way because i want to show the future generations that what this place used to look like and what people have done to it."
